Hutter worked with KCS Architects to partner with owner Jenna Pearson to transform the former Elm City Bagels location into Jenna’s Market and Deli in Keene, NH. The space was designed to create an experience surrounding the offerings, including a refrigerated glass meat counter extending down one side of the market and the opposite wall with gourmet hot and cold sandwiches and an assortment of prepared foods and salads.
The front of the space has several eat-in tables and farm stand-like market with fresh produce and dairy items. A custom wood wine bottle display by DS Huntington Company anchors the center of the space.
With the help of our sitework superintendent Rick Simpson, Hutter met the challenge of removing 80 tons of existing comprised concrete slab flooring through a small access point. Our team then worked with MPC Construction to pour a new exposed finished concrete slab floor.
We also coordinated the mechanical and electrical requirements with the owner contracted food service vendor and installed the mechanical kitchen hoods and interior finishes.
