PROJECT SUMMARY

The Dover Chevrolet Image Upgrade project was a result of the General Motors Image Upgrade Program. We renovated all areas that are regularly accessible to the public. The drive-thru service area was completely stripped of the old offices and aluminum and glass storefronts. We installed new drywall, aluminum frames and large sections of glass, as well as new lighting. We also remodeled their customer lounge area, cashier’s office, restrooms, sales floor and sales offices with new ceramic tile, carpet, ceiling grid and tiles. We also updated to the new 3-color paint scheme and graphics.

We removed the existing soffit and built a new soffit with densglass, steel framing and plywood in preparation for the new aluminum panels. We also installed a new concrete foundation for the new Chevrolet Tower, front and center of the building. We replaced the existing gravel new car display area with drainable paver bricks and granite curbing.

The renovations were phased in order to allow continuous operation of the sales, service and parts departments. The exterior improvements were coordinated with ongoing sales lot operations.
