PROJECT SUMMARY

The scope of work included the renovation of an existing chapel for Rivier University in Nashua, NH. We added a handicap ramp to the left side of the chapel and Narthex to the front. We installed new chapel pews in the sanctuary, windows, hardwood and tile flooring, drywall, paint, and millwork.

When we installed the new windows, the openings where modified to accommodate arch top windows in the chapel. We also constructed them to accommodate the possibility of stained glass windows in the future.

Hutter Construction took on the challenge of installing a new energy efficient ducted HVAC system into the confines of the existing structure. We also worked with an experienced subcontractor and PSNH to move the overhead power lines into an underground feed. This was done to further help improve the appearance of the campus.

The Resurrection Chapel Renovation was the first project Hutter Construction Corporation has been involved in at Rivier University. After the completion of this project, Hutter was invited to be the Construction Manager for the Campus Gateway project, a $2.2M project, and was completed in the Fall of 2015.
