Christ Church
Exeter, NH
PROJECT SUMMARY
This renovation project involved the stripping and reroofing of the narthex, a small addition off the back for the sacristy and a bathroom, the relocation and reconfiguration of the alter, all new electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, new drywall and insulation, and new windows and doors.
Interior finishes included new flooring, special acoustical panels suspended from the ceiling and a large amount of high-end finish millwork. The pews were all removed, refinished and replaced. Hutter Construction self-performed several of the trades such as concrete work, stripping the roof, and most of the carpentry work, which allowed us to reduce costs to the Church.
Final completion of this project was pending the installation and tuning of a new organ, a three to four month project, contracted directly by the Church. The remainder of Hutter’s contract included the installation of the sound system.
