PROJECT SUMMARY

This project included the demolition of the existing fire station—built in 1954 and could no longer fit more modern fire trucks—and the construction of the new state-of-the-art Pinehurst Branch Facility at the same location.

Two bays accommodate fire trucks and a mechanics bay with rotary lifts and enough space for a ladder truck. A backup dispatch center for emergency use, a triage room for medical calls, and facilities for gear cleaning and storage.

The living quarters include a fitness room, a rooftop deck with grills and planter boxes for gardening, ventilated lockers, laundry, lounge and full kitchen. The space is designed with training props including a trench in the garage, a false manhole, a window with removable glass, and anchors for rope training.
