PROJECT SUMMARY
The Hampton Inn & Suites in Manchester Center, VT is their flagship hotel model modified to comply with the architecture and character of an upscale historic district. It is a three-story building with wood/steel hybrid framing, panelized off-site for efficiency in to order to decrease the construction schedule.
This project was $1M over budget when Hutter Construction became involved. Through a design/build approach of many of the systems based upon the owner’s parameters, Hutter was able to reduce the building costs by $1M and achieve the goals of the owner’s business model.
